A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Small shortcut.
No big mystery.

Want the details?
Read the guide ↗

Do I need an account?

No. Start with a library on your device. Connect an account when you want cloud sync or shared team libraries.

Where can I use it?

Use shortcuts in supported browser text fields. Compatibility varies by editor; some currently support copying only. Check the compatibility guide for tested support and limitations. See compatibility →

Can I use it offline?

Your personal local snippets work offline. Downloaded team libraries remain available while their access lease is valid. Connected services and cloud sync need a connection.

Can I bring my existing snippets?

Yes. Import snippets through the library, including the supported Text Blaze format. Commands that cannot be converted are flagged for review.

How do I get the beta?

The Chrome beta currently uses a development install. The install guide walks you through it. Pricing is still being finalized; there is no Chrome Web Store listing yet.
