Getting started

Install and site access

Chrome asks for access to all sites when you install KeyEspresso, so shortcuts expand wherever you type; there is no second step. The welcome page lets you start on this device or connect your account. To stop it on a site, pause it from the toolbar icon or in Settings › Sites and pause. If you limit site access in Chrome’s extension settings, KeyEspresso expands only where Chrome allows it.

Create a snippet

Give the snippet a title and a shortcut, write the text, and choose Publish. Drafts are saved but only published snippets expand.

Use it

Type the shortcut in a text field on an allowed site. Press Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on Mac) right after to get the shortcut back.
